Hello all! I want to share another beautiful DIY Wedding that I had the honor of coordinating last fall! I met Bride Sarah's mother while working at a party rental company where we got to chatting after I helped her choose rentals for the big day. Sarah and Brian were an out-of-state couple who were looking to get married in their home town, which left her mom in charge of planning the details. She was doing such a great job but was really wanted to find someone who could help her with final planning details and "run the show" on the big day. That's where I came in!
This couple was so down-to-earth and so in love, and I believe it showed in every detail of their wedding. I loved spending time with their family and getting to help them have a truly memorable day. Take a look at some of the details!
THE VENUE
The Flower Farm Inn Located in Loomis, CA was the perfect setting for this romantic, rustic wedding! The venue is very charming with lots of rustic touches that were picture perfect. The Flower Farm is multi-functional as a Bed & Breakfast, Caffe, Orchard/Gardens and Wedding Venue! The cottages are so cute and make a perfect setting to get ready on the morning of the big day and retire to at the end of a fun night!
THE DETAILS
This DIY Wedding was not short of sweet details that really showcased Brian & Sarah's personality as a couple. They kept things simple, yet elegant from custom hangers to centerpieces. Check out some of the details that made this wedding oh so special:
THE CAKE:
Sarah and Brian opted for a classic three-tiered buttercream wedding cake ornamented with fresh florals. This Frank Vilt's cake not only looked beautiful, but guests were pleasantly surprised with the funfetti cake on the inside! The surrounding cupcakes were just as delicious and guests were really happy to much on cupcakes as the slices were being cut.

THE FLOWERS:
The centerpieces at the guest tables were extra special for this wedding. Sarah's dad actually reclaimed the fence from her childhood home and turned them into crates for the flowers to be placed in! I thought this was so heartwarming!

As for the floral arrangements, the couple had a family friend take care of them. Not only did she and her team create these beautiful arrangements, but they did the bridal parties hair and makeup! This couple was so blessed to have such talented people involved in their big day.
THE SEATING CHART
Again, this couple stayed true to their style by keeping their seating chart simple and straight forward. They took a rustic, wooden frame and attached a few strips of wire where they hung a list of names for each table with little clothespins. It was charming and effective!
THE GUEST BOOK:
This couple chose to add a little twist to their guest book with a couple of polaroid cameras! Guests had so much fun snapping photos that were placed next to their messages to the bride and groom. I'm sure they'll find joy looking back at these memories for years to come.

THE CEREMONY
Brian & Sarah's wedding ceremony took place under the beautiful trees on the lawn just outside of the big red barn. They couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather for their outdoor nuptials. The ceremony was simple, elegant and romantic. They kept the ceremony decor simple with greenery garlands around a white arbor and let nature speak for itself.
THE RECEPTION
The reception took place in the Flower Farm's Big Red Barn, where the guests ate, drank and danced the night away! Guests enjoyed multiple food stations from the Old Spaghetti Factory, which was a hit! You can't go wrong with pasta options!
The Bride & Groom were celebrated with loving speeches from friends and family followed by a champagne toast and a dance party! DJ Eli Freshmode really outdid himself with his mix and kept the party going until the last song!
Don't be afraid to keep things simple, if that's your couple style. Stay true to your style and budget and remember that your wedding day can also be a reflection of your values as you share the big day with those you love.
As always,
Happy Planning!
